Children's Groups

The children of St. Domitlla are encouraged to participate in various spiritual extra-curricular activities. Along with making new friends, they discover a variety of opportunities to learn about their church and ways to participate in the Christian service.

Altar Servers

Boys and girls of St. Domitilla Parish, grades 3 - 12, who have received their First Holy Communion, are invited to be servers at daily and Sunday masses, weddings, funerals, and other liturgical functions.   For more information, contact Marge Dixon 708.449.8430.

Children’s Choir

The St. Domitilla Church Children's Choir performs at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on the Last Sunday of each month.  Rehearsals are held during the school year, usually on Thursdays, from 4 - 5pm. Practices take place in the school’s Teen Room.  Parents interested in having their children participate in the Children's Choir can contact our Music Director by either calling the Rectory at 708.449.8430 or by sending an e-mail inquiry to StDchoir@hotmail.com.

Religious Education

Our Religious Education program teaches the basics of the Catholic faith, and prepares students for the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation for students that attend public schools. The classes are held on Sundays beginning at 8:30 a.m. and then the classes attend the 9:30 a.m. Parish Famiy Mass.  They are dismissed after Mass.  For more information, contact Pam Kollman 708.449.1558.
